Nothing beats a beautiful sunset on Lake Mille Lacs. My favorite, okay who am I kidding, used-to-be favorite (before kids) was evening/night fishing on Mille Lacs. The sunsets are spectacular out there. Nothing beats kicking back in the boat with a cold one watching the sun set with the one you love and hoping to catch a monster walleye. I love being just minutes from the lake. Maybe one day when I grow up I can live there too. lol
A few weeks ago I did an 18 mo session for my twin niece and nephew and the rest of their family at Father Hennepin State Park on Mille Lacs. First though, our families took the twins on their first boat ride and grilled out at the park. It was such a fun evening. After the fun we got down to business. The twins were so busy exploring all that there was, it was really hard to get their attention. I was working up a sweat trying to keep up with these cute, little busy bodies. My sister in law is a scrapbooker like me and I am just envisioning some great beach page layouts of these photos. I hope she does too. lol
This is our Goddaughter. She is getting so grown up already. Our oldest really looks up to his cousin. He gets so excited to see her and so sad when they have to part. I think it was because of her that he was in love with the color pink for a few years. lol Also, I think it is the sweetest thing when I see her reading to to boys.
I just love, love, love this image.
