This definition sure describes this little girl.  Back in April, I photographed this sweet little thing at 5 days old, only to hear a few days later that she became very ill.  She was flown to Children’s Hospital where she was diagnosed with not one, but two congenital heart defects, Ventrical Septal Defect (hole in her heart) and Coarctation of the Aorta (narrowing of the aorta).  I just cannot image the feelings her family went through during that time.  What seemed to be a long two weeks later, she was back home with her whole family.  I still amazes me that they can operate on someone so tiny and in a few short weeks they can be doing so well.  She has been doing fabulous ever since.

Here are a few pictures of Miss E in her mommies tummy yet.  Her big sister is too cute.

This little girl refused to sleep.   She was so bright eyed.

Hours later we finally got a sleepy girl.
