I just love Kodak Portra film. The colors really fit the way I shoot digitally. This month we were shooting Kodak Portra 160. Unfortunately I didn’t get my roll finished in time. Maybe this depressing and lingering winter had something to do with it. I can’t stand to take another picture with snow in it. So since I still want to participate I am sharing a few of my favorite images from this past summer and fall. I love how film handles well in full sun and low light. It is so forgiving. It takes a lot to blow your highlights. You can’t shoot digitally with a low shutter speed like you can with film and get the same results. So I am showing both spectrums. The fall images I were shot at sunset and the sun was getting low. I think my SS was 1/30 at times. I was surprised how they turned out. Click on the images below to see the slide show. Lets see what Jenny shot on Portra 160.
